About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) manages administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department and assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in the overall operation of the department. The role supports compliance with Company policies, nursing practice standards, and government regulations to maintain quality care. The ADON delegates the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability needed by Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors to carry out their assigned duties. The position requires on-call availability.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in good standing with a required current state license.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Current and active CPR certification.
• On-call availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of management or supervisory experience is preferred.
