About The Position
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake Worth, Florida, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support oversight of clinical operations and nursing staff. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior ADON experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ADON partners directly with the Director of Nursing to maintain regulatory compliance, support staffing stability, and ensure high standards of resident care.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license; Compact license accepted.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and DOH survey processes.
- Demonstrated experience supporting survey readiness and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage nursing staff in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Support daily oversight of nursing operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Ensure compliance with CMS and Florida State DOH regulations.
- Assist with survey preparation, regulatory inspections, and plans of correction.
- Supervise unit managers, RN supervisors, and nursing staff.
- Monitor documentation accuracy, care plans, and infection control standards.
- Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
- Assist with staffing oversight and clinical performance management.
- Collaborate with the DON and Administrator on operational stability.
