About The Position

White Oak of Charlotte is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. This position opening is for an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN (full time, salary). This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak of Charlotte team! We have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
• RN and/or a minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in Geriatrics
• Long term care and supervisory experience required
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities

• Flexible and innovative with exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
