Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | LPN
About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADON) | LPNs to join their team. This role involves supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents, in accordance with physician orders and resident needs. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON is responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the DON, the ADON assumes responsibility for clinical operations.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which you are practicing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred

Responsibilities
- Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
- In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
- Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
