About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing manages administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department. The role assists the Director of Nursing (DON) with the overall operation of the department in accordance with company policies, nursing practice standards, and government regulations to maintain quality care. The Assistant Director of Nursing delegates the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability needed for Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors to perform their duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, has strong knowledge of policies and governmental regulations, and is passionate about supporting and training stakeholders to provide excellent resident care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in good standing with a required current state license.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Current and active CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of management or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities
