About The Position

The Avalon of Bloomfield Township is recruiting for a hospitality-focused LPN. This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The role supports residents’ independence and engagement while coordinating nursing care and responding to community staffing needs.

The position requires availability for any or all emergencies regarding the community. The listed salary range is $76,000–$80,000.

Requirements

• Current nursing license valid in the state where the position is worked.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, while actively promoting an independent lifestyle.
• Identify medical and behavioral changes in residents; develop and monitor care plans and reassess each resident.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
• Provide nursing care according to physicians’ orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
• Monitor and adjust schedules in real time to address call-outs, late arrivals, overtime, and unexpected staffing needs.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
