About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Maintenance for The Blake at Township. The role works hands-on with the Director of Maintenance and is on call. The Assistant Director supports the upkeep and appearance of the building and grounds, follows the preventative maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management, maintains accurate records for systems and equipment, and assists residents and their families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges. Starting pay is $18.00–$19.00. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
Construction experience coordinating building repairs.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Follow the preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, including paint touch-ups, grounds and building readiness checks, ensuring lights work, clearing gutters and pathways, and removing trash and debris.
Manage time effectively and complete tasks within company time frames.
Keep the building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources, and prospects.
Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance records on systems and equipment, including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permits, nurse call systems, emergency backup generators, automobiles, HVAC, and PTAC service.
Assist new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
Work hands-on with the Director of Maintenance and be on call.
