About The Position
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) - Registered Nurse (RN) works under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. This role is responsible for hiring qualified hospice personnel, providing hospice services directly, delegating and coordinating hospice personnel evaluations, and establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. Brighton/Suncrest Hospice aims to change the expectation of hospice care by providing exceptional care and service, achieved through increased staff to patient ratios, leading to more clinical visits and lower clinician caseloads. The company is CHAP certified and seeks individuals committed to providing the highest quality of care.
Requirements
- A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
- A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
- 5 years in healthcare industry preferred
- 2 years of experience working in Leadership
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice
Responsibilities
- Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
- Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues.
- Clinical policy and procedure support.
- Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies.
- Monitoring implementation of correction plans.
