Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) - Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) - Registered Nurse (RN) works under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. This role is responsible for hiring qualified hospice personnel, the provision of hospice services directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations. The ADCS also establishes standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. The goal at Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is to change the expectation of hospice care by providing exceptional care and service to patients, achieved by increasing staff to patient ratios, clinical visits, and lowering clinician caseloads. Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is a CHAP certified hospice.
Requirements
- A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
- A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
- At least 1 year in hospice experience
- 2 years of experience working in Leadership
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice
- Driver's license, reliable vehicle and car insurance
Nice To Haves
- 5 years in healthcare industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
- Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues
- Clinical policy and procedure support
- Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies
- Monitoring implementation of correction plans
