About The Position

The Assistant Director for the Office of Student Accountability serves as a liaison to University Housing, functioning as the primary administrative hearing officer for minor student conduct matters arising within University Housing facilities, and ensuring timely, educationally grounded resolution of Code of Student Life and Housing policy violations. This position develops and delivers training for Housing staff, provides indirect supervision of Hall Directors related to conduct responsibilities, manages all housing-related case administration, and maintains collaborative communication across campus to connect students with appropriate support resources. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • At least two years of professional experience working in a Higher Education setting directly with students.
  • Experience working in or directly with a Student Conduct Process.

Nice To Haves

  • At least three years of professional experience working in a Higher Education setting directly with students.
  • Experience working in or closely with University Housing in a Higher Education setting.
  • Experience serving as a hearing officer or conducting investigations in the student conduct process.
