About The Position

The Assistant Director, EVS assists the Director with oversight of the facility’s operational needs. The role serves as a liaison between the sector and the client and provides a high level of service. The position also oversees staffing, work standards, facility inspections, staff communication, and major project scheduling in accordance with facility policies and needs.

Requirements

• A four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong work ethic, drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Ability to use a participative approach to managing staff.
• Ability to function appropriately under stress, organize and prioritize tasks, and develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements.
• Strong stress management, administrative, organizational, and follow-through skills with associates and clients.

Nice To Haves

• At least three years of additional relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and review standards and work procedures for staff in accordance with facility policies and practices.
• Plan work schedules, hours, work areas, and job duties to ensure adequate staffing.
• Interview, select, hire, and evaluate personnel, and recommend personnel termination in accordance with facility standards.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and evaluations and recommend action items.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate with other departments to coordinate activities.
• Schedule major project work and ensure adequate staff and supplies are available.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
