The Assistant Director, Campus Tours and Visit Programs (Student Services Professional IV) provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for a comprehensive campus visit program and the Titan Welcome Center. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, and continuous enhancement of campus visit experiences and Welcome Center operations, including daily tours, group visits, K-12 programming, academic college tours, virtual tours, VIP visits, and self-guided experiences. The Assistant Director ensures all programs are delivered with a high level of quality, consistency, and alignment with institutional recruitment and enrollment goals. This position leads and supports the Campus Tours Coordinator and provides oversight for the broader campus visits team, including a large student workforce of Titan Ambassadors and Senior Titan Ambassadors. The role is responsible for setting program priorities, guiding operational structures, overseeing communications and partnerships, managing assessment and reporting efforts, and ensuring the effective use of resources, systems, and staff to support campus visit operations. Through a combination of strategic leadership and operational oversight, this position ensures the campus visit program remains responsive to enrollment needs, aligned with institutional priorities, and reflective of best practices across the CSU system and higher education. The Assistant Director may engage in select operational responsibilities as needed to support the success of Campus Tours and Visit Programs and ensure continuity of services.
