About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Assists the Grocery Manager with operating the Dairy department and with its financial performance. Oversees dairy clerks and monitors merchandising, product rotation, and inventory levels to support sales opportunities. Maintains a high level of customer service and courtesy throughout the store. Front-end services may be required as business needs necessitate.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Assist the Grocery Manager with daily Dairy department operations, including merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels.
Assist with ordering Dairy merchandise and supplies and meet transmission times.
Store excess product in the cooler or designated area.
Maintain customer courtesy and service throughout the store; provide front-end services when business needs require.
Ensure company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations are followed within grocery operations.
Unload warehouse merchandise from trucks.
Assist with training and developing new associates in Dairy operations.
Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
