ASSISTANT COOK, FH - CAFE
About The Position
The Assistant Cook assists with duties related to retail food and beverage items for visitors, hospital staff, and patients. The role follows standardized recipes and production sheets, ensures food is served according to established standards and procedures, and maintains quality standards for presentation and portion control. Other duties may be assigned. The position is onsite at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a 1.0 FTE and 40 standard hours per week. The schedule is 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with every-other-weekend work and rotating holidays; holiday hours are on third shift.
Requirements
- No experience is required.
- No education is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- At least 1 year of previous food service experience in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
