About The Position

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun, fast-paced environment, serving members healthy food options. The cook prepares menu items according to recipes, in a timely manner and in compliance with food safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods.
• Obtain ServSafe certification within the first 90 days of hire.
• Obtain CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a restaurant, including fast-casual or full-service experience.
• Experience prepping recipes.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the daily needs of the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety.
• Maintain cleanliness in the LifeCafe and kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes.
• Manage food production flow in coordination with the sandwich and salad stations.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and ingredient quality when preparing food.
