About The Position
The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment, serving members healthy food options. The cook prepares menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and follows food safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods.
- Obtain ServSafe certification within the first 90 days of hire.
- Obtain CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a restaurant with fast-casual or full-service experience.
- Experience preparing recipes.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the Bistro’s daily needs, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety.
- Maintain LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes.
- Manage food production flow in coordination with the sandwich and salad stations.
- Follow recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and ingredient quality when preparing food.
