About The Position
Haffner’s is seeking an Assistant Convenience Store Manager to help provide customers with a satisfying shopping experience. The role assists the Store Manager in implementing company policies and procedures and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager works closely with store employees to ensure daily routines and responsibilities are completed as directed by the Store Manager, and is prepared to perform the Store Manager’s duties in their absence. Haffner’s describes itself as a family-oriented company with a presence in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, operating gas stations, convenience stores, car washes, and food service locations. Responsibilities
- Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely manner, and report customer feedback and actions taken to the Store Manager.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked store with a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Complete daily administrative responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence in accordance with company procedures.
- Be prepared to perform all managerial duties when the Store Manager is unavailable.
- Serve as a positive role model for fellow employees.
- Supervise employees in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Complete and delegate shift duties to maintain store conditions according to the Store Manager’s expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with following up on daily shift duties.
