FGHS Assistant Color Guard Instructor
About The Position
This position will assist with the FGHS Marching Band/Color Guard. The instructor will abide by the Forest Grove Staff Handbook, provide instruction to color guard members, and assist with general logistics. The role requires staying advised of the Director's goals and agendas to meet timelines and deadlines for all materials to be produced and learned by students. Communication with the Director regarding rehearsal needs, attendance, and absences is crucial. The instructor will also be responsible for creating a healthy and productive learning environment for students, as well as a healthy environment for staff and parents to invest.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Stand/Walk 6-8 hours
- Use hands for repetitive Single Grasping, Pushing and Pulling, Fine Manipulation
- Bend Frequently
- Squat Frequently
- Climb Stairs Occasionally
- Lift Frequently
- Medium Work: Lifting 50 occasionally, 25 pounds frequently with occasional sitting and frequent standing/walking.
