About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach for its women's lacrosse team, based onsite in Manchester, NH. This role reports to the Head Coach and involves supporting all aspects of the program within NCAA and university regulations. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
1+ years of playing or coaching experience in the sport of Lacrosse
Knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, ECAC, and NCAA
Valid operator/driver’s license is required
Ability to pass a MVR check

Responsibilities

Participate in leading and implementing preseason and season practices.
Help monitor conditioning programs.
Provide input on the evaluation of athlete's performance and progress.
Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting.
Ensure the best performance of athletes during games.
Recruit prospective student athletes.
Participate in planning for events including fundraising or other special functions.
Transport University Vans to and from practice, games, playoffs, and coaches meetings.
Manage social media accounts.
Attend the annual athletic awards banquet, NE-10 conference meetings, all-star balloting or voting meetings, and all SNHU Athletic Department meetings.
Work with the Head Coach in all facets of the program, adhering to NCAA and university rules and regulations.
Develop a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Pass the NCAA Certification exam.
