Provide assistance to the Head Coach in training student athletes who participate in the University sports program and administering the sports program as required. This role involves planning and conducting team and individual practice and training sessions, assisting with event scheduling, travel arrangements, budget management, home event management, and facility use. The position also includes recruiting athletically and academically qualified student athletes, developing recruiting areas and networks, and monitoring academic eligibility. The Assistant Coach is expected to represent Loyola Marymount University (LMU) positively within the LMU and extended community, assist with fundraising, marketing, and promotional activities, develop community involvement, and participate in public relations and LMU Summer Camp programs. Additionally, the role involves providing leadership within the Athletic Department by encouraging support for athletic programs and attending events. Compliance with NCAA rules is mandatory, including completing all required rules compliance information and participating in annual evaluations with the supervisor.
