About The Position

The Assistant Coach, Swimming instructs and teaches athletes in the fundamentals of swimming, coaching technique and strategy for both the Men's and Women's Swim teams. This role assists in the selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. The Assistant Coach also aids the head coach in coordinating administrative areas of program management, including scheduling competitions and practices, travel plans, and equipment. Additionally, the position monitors the academic progress of student athletes, audits information from academic support services, and ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coaching the sport of swimming required.
• Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.
• Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
