About The Position

Williams College is seeking an ambitious, mission-driven Assistant Coach who is ready to contribute to a culture that champions both academic and competitive athletic excellence. Williams Women’s Basketball is steeped in tradition and distinction, having appeared in the NCAA tournament multiple times. The program is committed to helping student-athletes achieve their highest potential by focusing on developing holistically in a competitive and positive environment, while upholding the core values and philosophies of the Women’s Basketball program. The successful candidate will excel at working in a community that is broadly diverse. The Assistant Coach of Women’s Basketball is a 9-month, 40-hour per week position with a salary of $35,100, and comes with a full meal plan. This role is fully benefitted and also provides full tuition remission of graduate school coursework after six months of employment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and collegiate playing or coaching experience required
  • Successful candidates will possess self-motivation, communication and organizational skills and be open to learning new methods
  • A passion for coaching and mentorship of a diverse student-athlete population

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of collegiate coaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA Division III policies and strong interpersonal skills are preferred.
