Youth Athletes United is seeking coaches for its TGA youth sports programs in Tennis, Golf, and Pickleball. The programs aim to make children's first sports experiences fun while teaching sports fundamentals, life skills, and healthy habits. Coaches work with children ages 5–13, using individual attention, a non-competitive approach, and positive reinforcement to help every child succeed. Coaches may work 4–20 hours per week and earn up to $27 per hour. Lead Coaches use the curriculum to facilitate classes and lead Assistant Coaches. Depending on class size, coaches may work with groups of 7–10 or 8–40+ students, with Assistant Coaches assigned to larger classes. Coaches are expected to be open to feedback, attend additional training, and follow the TGA Coaching Manual. Classes take place at schools, parks, and recreation centers throughout Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. Coaches may need to travel up to an hour to a class location. Most classes are after school or on weekends. Weekday availability is generally between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.; weekend classes are generally between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
