About The Position

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program in the Department of Graduate Health Professions, School of Health & Human Sciences (SHHS) at IU Indianapolis, invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty appointment designed for individuals with strong clinical expertise and a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of physical therapists. The successful candidate will contribute to the program’s mission through excellence in teaching, student advising and mentorship, scholarship of teaching and learning, service to the university and PT profession, and professional engagement. PT faculty collaborates with colleagues in the Graduate Health Professions (Occupational Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Physician Assistants) to support student success, program development, and accreditation standards. Additionally, the successful applicant will serve on programs, school, and university committees. Faculty members have opportunities and support for scholarly activity and faculty development. Strong preference will be given to candidates with ABPTS specialist certification in the candidate’s primary practice area. We welcome candidates with clinical specialization in pediatrics, musculoskeletal, neurological, or geriatrics.
