About The Position

The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) role serves as a crucial link between senior clinical leadership and executive clinical leadership. This is an operational role with its own scope, where the ACD partners with the Clinical Director on cross-site clinical operations, upholds quality standards across multiple locations, and acts as a successor for future Clinical Director positions. The role is designed for planned clinical leadership succession. Key Essentials to Behavior Management Corp (KEBM) is an ABA therapy company with five clinics, founded in 2016 by a BCBA with extensive experience. They utilize a proprietary S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology, which is a pod-based group ABA model. KEBM serves a diverse client base, including insurance-funded, private pay, open play, and camp families, emphasizing equal quality of care for all. The company is women-founded, minority-owned, and prioritizes clinical quality and employee well-being.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA Certification
  • Master's degree required
  • 5+ years post-certification leadership experience
  • Experience leading BCBAs
  • Multi-site or complex single-site leadership experience
  • BCBA with 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Desire for a bridge role with executive-track development
  • Building toward Clinical Director position
  • Crisis intervention training required

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site clinical leadership experience preferred
  • Prior multi-site clinical leadership in ABA or adjacent behavioral health
  • Clinical program design, scaling, or turnaround experience
  • Organizational development or operations coursework/training
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • LBA license in Georgia

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Clinical Director on cross-site clinical operations, including program fidelity, quality standards, clinical staffing decisions, and methodology consistency.
  • Oversee BCBA Leads across assigned regions, focusing on performance evaluation, development planning, and multi-site clinical quality assurance.
  • Drive clinical program development initiatives, such as new service line design, S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology evolution, and clinical protocol standardization.
  • Own clinical strategic initiatives, including expansion readiness, new site clinical setup, program scaling, and clinical audit responses.
  • Mentor Clinic Managers, BCBA Leads, and senior BCaBAs/BCBAs to develop the clinical leadership pipeline.
  • Represent the clinical team in executive conversations, providing real executive representation.
  • Establish a regional clinical quality baseline and scope/initiate strategic initiatives within the first 90 days.
  • Complete succession planning assessments for assigned clinical leaders within the first 90 days.
