About The Position

Butterfly Effects is hiring an Assistant Center Director (BCBA) for its Lynnhaven Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The position supports children with autism spectrum disorder and their families through evidence-based ABA services in an interdisciplinary, BCBA-led organization. The role includes clinical leadership, supervision, assessment and treatment planning, caregiver training, and collaboration with other professionals. The position is based at the center and follows the afterschool therapy schedule of 12:00 PM–7:00 PM. All experience levels are welcome, with opportunities tailored to career stage.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Active BCBA certification from the BACB.
Passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee RBTs and BTs to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery.
Conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and create evidence-based intervention plans.
Lead monthly caregiver training sessions to build families’ long-term capacity.
Coordinate with therapists, educators, and other professionals to support holistic client outcomes.
Assist with related special projects and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
