Assistant Center Director for Licensed Care
About The Position
Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is seeking an Assistant Center Director for an Early Learning Center in Bellingham. The role supports overall management of the center, with a focus on child developmental planning, training, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, developmentally appropriate practices used by Lead Teachers and Early Learning Assistants. The Assistant Center Director fosters an environment where feedback is given and received directly and honestly. Responsibilities also include modeling evidence-based best practices, including positive behavior management techniques, providing feedback on teacher lesson plans, and managing the daily staff schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support the overall management of the center site.
- Support child developmental planning, training, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based appropriate practices used by Lead Teachers and Early Learning Assistants.
- Foster an environment of direct and honest feedback.
- Model evidence-based best practices, including positive behavior management techniques.
- Provide feedback on teacher lesson plans.
- Manage the daily staff schedule.
