About The Position

The Assistant Bursar is responsible for receiving and recording student payments, reviewing student accounts for collection determinations, and assisting in the monitoring of financial aid funds. This role also involves maintaining daily transaction reports, preparing month-end closings, posting tuition, books, and supplies to student accounts, and making necessary adjustments to charges and payments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Bachelor's Degree
  • Extensive experience in accounts receivable, billing, cash-handling, collections, and data entry
  • Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills and communications skills
