About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to function as both a Bursar and Registrar. This role will handle all financial aspects of student accounts, including charging, receipting, refunding, and collecting past due accounts. Additionally, the position will maintain student academic records, transcriptions, and enrollment status. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can accurately follow instructions and accounting procedures, and enjoys staying busy.

Responsibilities

Update information in Student Management System to ensure accurate records of students, non-graduates and graduates are accessible at all times.
Prepare semester course schedules and coordinates registration and enrollment activities including add/drop, withdrawal approval and notification with School of Nursing administrative staff and staff of the School’s affiliate.
Assist in determining transfer credit based on school/university policy.
Post transfer and credit by exam credit hours to student transcript.
Assist student financial aid, accounting department, state, federal, and independent auditors/program reviewers in conducting and completing compliance audits and reviews.
Prepare and verify student bills, grade report cards, enrollment verifications, and transcripts.
Collect tuition payments, disburse student grant and loan checks, and prepare and complete tuition and fee deposits.
Monitor satisfactory academic progress, right to know, campus safety and security, drug free school and other federal and/or state regulatory requirements as needed.
