Working alongside the Branch Manager, this role supports daily branch operations, develops employees, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and helps the branch meet its sales and service goals. The position requires the ability to work at other branch locations based on business needs, and a schedule that includes evenings and weekends with flexibility during the week. The role involves extended periods of standing, occasional movement around the office, frequent use of a computer and other office productivity equipment, bending to access the coin vault, ATM, and night drop, and lifting up to 60 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework is preferred.
• 2–5 years of previous retail banking experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong operational and organizational skills.
• Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Initiative and ability to sell and cross-sell products and services to build and deepen customer relationships.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends, with flexibility during the week.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods, move about the office, bend to access the coin vault, ATM, and night drop, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work at other branch locations based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Coach, mentor, and develop branch employees to achieve service and performance goals.
• Foster a positive, customer-first culture focused on relationship building and exceptional service.
• Support business development through customer engagement and referral generation.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with scheduling, performance management, and workflow coordination.
• Resolve customer concerns and support complex transactions.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to drive branch growth and overall performance.
• Work at other branch locations based on business needs.
