About The Position
The Assistant Bakery Manager supports the bakery team in providing fresh baked goods for customers. The role includes organizing daily bakery operations, supporting and developing employees, controlling expenses, and maintaining positive customer relations. The position starts at $21.00 per hour and pays up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience. Occasional wedding cake or other product deliveries may be required.
Requirements
- At least one year in a professional bakery setting.
- Ability to embrace a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Maintain positive customer relations.
- Organize daily bakery duties.
- Train and develop bakery employees.
- Log and process invoices and take inventory.
- Control expenses.
- Perform general housekeeping.
- Deliver wedding cakes or other products when needed.
