About The Position

High Point University, Department of Psychology, is seeking qualified candidates for two full-time faculty positions at the undergraduate level beginning August 2027. These are Non-Tenure Track Positions for Social/Personality Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Non-Tenure Track positions are eligible for promotion, with standards for teaching, scholarship, and service reviewed both internally and externally, typically in the sixth year.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology is required at the time of employment.
• Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship.
• Candidates should be actively engaged in scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and established departmental courses within the applicant’s area of training.
