The Department of Counseling at Mercer University’s College of Professional Advancement seeks qualified applicants for an assistant or associate professor of Counseling. This full-time, tenure-track, nine-month faculty position has an expected start date of August 1, 2027. The position’s teaching responsibilities include face-to-face, blended, and a limited number of online graduate courses. Supervision of clinical field experiences, the guidance of student research leading to publications and presentations at academic conferences, and participation on doctoral committees are expected. The faculty workload consists of the teaching equivalent of 9 graduate credit hours per academic semester. Additional duties include academic advising, mentorship, research and scholarship, college and university service, accreditation-related activities, and other duties as assigned by the Department Chair or Dean.
