About The Position

Spectrum Montessori-Woodbury is hiring a part-time Assistant Afternoon Teacher to work with toddlers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Assistant Teacher helps implement age-appropriate curriculum, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children during activities, meals, and naptime to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The role also involves supporting children’s development, monitoring their progress, and fostering a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The position pays $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. Spectrum Montessori-Woodbury is part of Endeavor Schools, which operates more than 100 schools in 14 states. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in early childhood education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
12 Child Development Units, required by the State of California.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
