About The Position

We are looking for a Nursing Home Assistant Administrator to join our team. This role supports the Administrator in the overall operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations. The goal is to provide the highest degree of quality care to residents at all times. The Assistant Administrator is also responsible for fostering an environment that engages and motivates staff to perform at their best while delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ previous experience in long term care environment, preferably as Assistant Administrator or AIT.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college
  • Current unencumbered Federal and State Nursing Home Administrator’s license
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in union environment
  • Documented successful track record indicating a working knowledge of State and Federal regulations relating to nursing homes based on past Department of Health Services survey results
  • Specialization in healthcare administration or business administration

  • Supporting the Administrator for the overall operation of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards and regulations, and in accordance with policies and procedures to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
  • Creating an environment that engages and motivates staff to give their best each day while providing the highest level of care.
