About The Position

Aecon Engineering Services Inc. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and advanced secretarial training
  • A minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
  • 4 years of experience with a company is preferred.
  • Mid to expert knowledge of commonly used Personal Computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to operate with urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Thorough and extensive knowledge of office practices and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced project administrative duties in support of the power business and the company’s leadership organization.
  • Coordinate with the project engineering manager (PEM) and the project information manager (PIM) to provide general project administration, document control, and meeting coordination.
  • Support the procurement process by developing procurement requisitions and purchase orders using SAP software.
  • Assemble and analyze information, and prepare reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence, and memoranda.
  • Help coordinate activities across departments.
  • Arrange and notify appointments and travel reservations/arrangements.
  • Prepare materials in final form from rough drafts, which may utilize technical terminology and combine materials from several sources.
  • Plan the layout of complex reports and statistical tables.
