About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the financial management of facilities and bond funds. This includes tasks such as maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or financial management.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with financial software systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience with governmental accounting or fund accounting.
Experience with specific accounting software used by the district.
Certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
