About The Position

The Asset Protection Coordinator monitors access control and CCTV systems and investigates internal and external theft concerns within an assigned facility. The role supports daily asset protection operations, conducts facility audits, responds to critical incidents involving retail stores, and handles additional assignments and projects designated by a supervisor. The position is temporary and 100% onsite in Mason. The listed schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; the posting also lists “3:00 pm.” The dress code is all-black pants and shirt.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of retail Asset Prevention or Retail Loss Prevention experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to detect and evaluate unusual behavior and circumstances.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and civil authorities.
• Knowledge of basic computer tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support daily asset protection operations, including surveillance monitoring, access control reviews, patrols, and incident response.
• Serve as a lead resource for investigations, supporting case development, evidence collection, camera review, and OSINT activities.
• Assist with facility audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; document findings and track corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, case documentation, and audit records in alignment with asset protection standards.
• Help ensure security technology is effective, escalate system issues, and coordinate with leadership as needed.
• Respond to critical incidents involving retail stores and complete additional assignments and projects designated by a supervisor.
