About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility. This includes following all safety standards and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. The associate will also observe and communicate suspicious activity, assist with investigations, maintain required documentation, and execute emergency response procedures. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, and fostering a culture of belonging. It also involves working collaboratively as a team, building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and strengthening the team through mentorship and recognition. Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines
• Conducting safety sweeps
• Following proper forklift spotting procedures
• Following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
• Following Company steel standard guidelines
• Correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity
• Assisting with investigations
• Maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation
• Appropriately executing emergency response procedures
• Works as a team
• Builds strong and trusting relationships
• Communicates with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence
• Strengthens the team by helping developing and mentoring others
