About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and surrounding areas. The associate will observe and communicate suspicious activity, assist with investigations, maintain necessary documentation, and execute emergency response procedures. The role also emphasizes fostering a culture of belonging, building strong relationships, and contributing to a positive team environment. Associates are expected to act with integrity, uphold company values, and support the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company by making a positive impact. The role involves serving customers and members by delivering results and making decisions based on reliable information, while also striving for excellence through continuous learning, embracing new technologies, and supporting change.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
  • Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation, and appropriately executing emergency response procedures.
  • Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.
  • Strengthens the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others, recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
