About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting or reporting unsafe situations. The associate will also observe and communicate suspicious activity, assist with investigations, maintain required documentation, and execute emergency response procedures. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, and building strong relationships. It also involves acting with integrity by upholding ethical standards and supporting the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company. The associate will serve customers and members by delivering results and making informed decisions, and strive for excellence by demonstrating curiosity, resilience, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines
  • Conducts safety sweeps
  • Follows proper forklift spotting procedures
  • Follows proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Follows Company steel standard guidelines
  • Corrects/reports unsafe situations to Management
  • Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity
  • Assists with investigations
  • Maintains paperwork logs and other required documentation
  • Appropriately executes emergency response procedures
  • Works as a team
  • Builds strong and trusting relationships
  • Communicates with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence
