About The Position

The Asset Manager, Market & Asset Operations owns Fervo Energy’s day-ahead market interface and bid execution for its geothermal assets in CAISO. The position serves as the primary contact for the Scheduling Coordinator relationship and coordinates with Plant Operations, interconnection partners, Asset Management stakeholders, and external parties. It supports settlements validation, revenue realization, and market performance analysis, and maintains process controls and documentation that reduce execution risk. The role also works with Governmental and Regulatory Affairs on market design opportunities for geothermal resources and provides day-to-day coaching and guidance to Associates and Analysts. The position is based at Fervo’s Houston office, with regular in-office presence required. It follows a hybrid schedule, with employees expected to work in the office three days per week.
