About The Position

The Asset Maintenance Tech II services, maintains, and repairs rental equipment, handling complex repairs, advanced diagnostics, inventory management, and quality assurance. The role also mentors less experienced technicians and supports continuous improvement in operations. It is a safety-sensitive position requiring strict adherence to company safety protocols and standards. Prospective employees must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three to five years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or a related field.
Proven experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Adherence to company safety protocols and standards.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

Welding experience.
Experience in the rental or pump industry.

Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment and ensure units are rental-ready.
Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
Inspect equipment for quality assurance and ensure check sheets are accurately documented.
Manage work orders, recording parts, labor, and related items.
Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
Deliver and/or pick up berms from customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
