About The Position

This position involves locating, identifying, viewing, measuring, and recording data for residential and vacant properties to establish an estimate of market value for Ad Valorem real estate tax purposes. The role determines the appropriate classification in accordance with mandated guidelines, appraisal schedules, procedures, and methods. The vacancy is for one regular, full-time position, which can be filled at either the Assessor/Appraiser I or Assessor/Appraiser II level.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform field projects county-wide.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as necessary and approved.
