About The Position
This company manufactures and distributes footwear to law enforcement, military, professionals, and civilian markets. Globally recognized for their superior quality, flexibility, and turn-around time in manufacturing. This is a temp to hire position. Positive performance and good attendance during your first 90 days. Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance to ensure adequate staffing, positive employee morale, and to meet expected productivity standards and demands. Requirements
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Maintain medium to fast-paced productivity & quality in the work environment
- Be able to read and follow patterns/instructions.
- You must have good work attendance history and pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Assembling and manufacturing footwear by cutting patterns, sewing by hand or sewing machine, using various materials such as glues, dyes, and laces.
- Attaching soles, trimming material, shaping soles and any other duties assigned by supervisor.
