Requirements

Frequent use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment is required.
Requires use of pneumatic, hydraulic and various hand tools.
Requires use of cranes and power lifts and working from lift platforms.
Must have keen attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
Proficient computer skills
A quick learner
Team player
Ability to organize work and follow schedules.
Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills.
Must be able to safely and effectively operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
High school diploma or its equivalent
1-3 general assembly/mechanical experience.
Must have valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Level 2 technicians must demonstrate the ability to work independently in all 3 functional areas, and mastery of Assembly or Performance testing.

Responsibilities

Mechanical assembly of FEDCO equipment utilizing prints, manuals, procedure documents and/or other methods of instruction.
Hydrostatic test FEDCO equipment utilizing hydrostatic testing equipment and test procedures.
Performance test FEDCO equipment on various test loops, which includes test preparation and testing per instructions and procedures.
Load/unload trucks
Cleans around work areas, assists with general shop maintenance and janitorial duties.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
