Requirements

  • A problem-solver who can tackle production challenges independently and knows when to seek help.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Incredible attention to detail with a passion for delivering top-quality work.
  • Ability to collect and submit data accurately for QA review.
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience setting up and running basic optical tests without supervision is preferred.
  • DMAIC yellow belt training is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on industrial experience, and you know your way around a blueprint like a pro, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepping and assembling components into housings.
  • Transforming hardware with tasks like painting, priming, cleaning, and prepping surfaces.
  • Using routers, drawings, and written procedures to create flawless assemblies.
  • Aligning systems and assemblies to exact specs, using state-of-the-art technology like interferometry and open optical testing.
  • Processing and recording testing results with a touch of supervision needed.
  • Preparing finished assemblies for shipment, with a quick review from your trusted supervisor or tech III sidekick.
