About The Position

Caterpillar is hiring an Assembly Senior Manufacturing Support employee to support Section Managers and Assembly on the plant floor. The role supports 5S activities, area layout, the MRDR process, continuous improvement, CAV audits, and other assembly activities. The employee uses Caterpillar Production System principles, independent decision-making, and problem-solving to complete work, meet deadlines, multitask, prioritize, communicate across functions, provide summaries to leadership, and contribute as a team member.

The schedule is third shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Overtime may be required as business needs require, including weekends and holidays as needed. Starting pay is $27.20 per hour plus an 8% shift premium; the summary pay range is $27.20–$33.95. Caterpillar offers paid training, quarterly bonus potential, and benefits beginning on Day One, subject to eligibility and plan terms.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced computer and Caterpillar systems knowledge.
• Previous experience with 5S.

• AutoCAD experience.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Previous quality experience.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts as required.

Responsibilities
