About The Position

The Assembly Cell Operator assembles electronic components, wiring, fixtures, subassemblies, and products, including mounting electronic components and installing them into larger assemblies or casings. The role involves ensuring proper electrical wiring installation and testing or troubleshooting equipment before it is put into or returned to service. Work may be performed by hand or with small hand and power tools in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, while following safety, security, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to learn quickly and initiate learning independently.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and mount electronic components, installing them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring properly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products by hand or using small tools.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, crimpers, and wire strippers, as well as screws, bolts, rivets, and press fits.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete required work carefully and with attention to detail.
• Work with others in a team environment.
