About The Position

Tube Assembly operators perform day-to-day production activities using current procedures to maintain production schedules. The role involves assembling products according to documented procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality, and meeting manufacturing output requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years of prior manufacturing-related experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data entry, and email.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ability to clearly read and write in English.

• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to lift 3–5 lbs. and complete repetitive tasks.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• High attention to detail.
• Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call-offs.

Responsibilities

• Wear required personal protective equipment, including a smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.
• Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products according to detailed documented procedures.
• Follow policies, procedures, and drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform visual product checks to assure quality.
• Identify non-conforming parts according to documented procedures.
• Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high-quality products.
• Work independently and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
